2306 type single channel simulation battery and 2306 type dual channel battery charger / simulator is specialized for portable, battery powered products (such as cellular / cordless telephone, mobile radios, pagers, etc.) in development and testing and design. These precision power supply has an ultra fast transient response capability, which is comparable to the real battery. The two power supply uses a unique variable output resistance technique, which can simulate the response of the battery. Even though the device (DUT) is rapidly varying from standby mode (low current) to the RF transmit state (high current), they are also capable of providing stable voltage output. In addition, they are able to monitor the power consumption of DUT by measuring the DC current and the pulse load current. 2302 and 2306 of the battery simulation channel can be programmed to simulate the discharge of a rechargeable battery, charging the charge current from a separate charger or 2306 of the charging simulation channel.
